Te Atatu Chiropractic can help!

Chiropractic care is an increasingly popular and accepted healthcare choice because many people prefer a natural approach to health, avoiding addictive drugs or irreversible surgery.

Chiropractic stands out for its professional, holistic approach to spinal and overall health. It focuses on the relationship between your spine and nervous system (the brain, spinal cord, and nerves exiting the spine) and how that relationship affects the restoration and preservation of health and well-being.

Chiropractic can be beneficial for people of all ages and from all walks of life.

Gently removing pressure on the nerves in the spine takes away interference that stops your body working properly.

At Te Atatu Chiropractic, we are committed to helping babies, children and adults achieve improved health and function. We recognise that a healthy spine and nervous system, working at its very best, can help anyone at any time in their life; regardless of age, condition, presence or absence of disease, or obvious symptoms.

A safe, natural, drug-free, and effective method of health care, with highly-qualified professionals who are committed to Chiropractic care aimed primarily at the detection and correction of abnormal spinal movement and position (termed the vertebral subluxation). Chiropractors also recognise the importance of wholistic approach for your total wellbeing.

After thorough examination and analysis, chiropractors use carefully controlled and directed pressure (adjustments) to restore proper spinal function and thereby reduce interference to the vital nervous system. Chiropractic is not a 'treatment' as such for any particular symptom or disease, but rather a method of helping to ensure optimal joint function and nerve communication and is thus able to effectively assist the body in healing a wide array of symptoms and conditions.

Chiropractors undergo a minimum 5-year full-time tertiary education with an emphasis on neurology, diagnostic imaging, physiology, and spinal adjusting.

If your visit is related to an accident or injury then you may qualify for ACC to help cover some of your costs. You can go direct to a chiropractor and do not need a referral from a GP.
